TRS Mung Dal Chilka are split green mung beans with the skin left on. They have a mild flavour and turn light and soft when cooked. A versatile mung dal for a wide range of Asian dishes.

How to enjoy it:

Preparation: Soak for a few hours or overnight for a shorter cooking time and cook until soft.
Dal: Cook with turmeric and top with a tadka of cumin, garlic and chilli.
Khichdi: Cook together with rice into a soft, spiced rice porridge.
Soup & salad: Use in soups and stews, or cooked in salads.

Made in a factory that handles peanuts and other nuts, sesame, cereals containing gluten, milk, celery, soya, mustard and sulphites. Store in a cool, dry place.
