Shan Nihari Spice Mix 120g

The larger pack of Shan's Nihari seasoning is enough for several pots of Mughlai cuisine's classic slow-cooked stew. Black cumin, anise, fennel and cardamom create an aromatic, velvety sauce, and your patience is rewarded with meat that melts in the mouth.

How to enjoy it:

• Cooking: Brown the meat together with the spice mix so the flavours develop.
• Slow cooking: Add water and let the stew cook gently until the meat is really tender.
• Patience: The longer the stew simmers, the more velvety the sauce becomes.
• Serving: Serve with naan, shredded ginger and lemon wedges.
