Oak honey is an unusual honey from oak forests, with a dark colour and an intense, deep flavour that lingers on the palate. The sweetness is less pronounced than in blossom honey, replaced by full, almost malty notes. Best enjoyed simply, by the spoonful straight from the jar.

How to enjoy it:

Pure pleasure: Take a spoonful straight from the jar and savour the deep flavour.
Cheeseboard: Serve with strong, mature cheeses and walnuts.
Breakfast: Top yoghurt, porridge or toasted sourdough.
Baking: Adds depth to dark breads, biscuits and honey cakes.

Ingredients: oak honey.

Store in a dry place at room temperature. Honey crystallises over time – gently warm the jar in a water bath to make it runny again.
