A thick, dark tamarind concentrate that gives that distinctive sweet-sour flavour without any soaking and straining. Mix 1 part concentrate with 2 parts water and you have ready-made tamarind paste. From Cock Brand, with 80 % tamarind.

How to enjoy it:

Diluting: Mix 1 part concentrate with 2 parts water and stir.
Instead of paste: 1 tbsp concentrate + 2 tbsp water equals 3 tbsp tamarind paste.
Pad thai: The foundation of a sweet-sour pad thai sauce.
Curry & chutney: Give curries, soups and chutneys a fruity tang.

Ingredients: tamarind 80 %, water, preservative E211.
