AFP White Gari is a fine-grained, roasted cassava flour made from fermented cassava root, with a slightly tangy taste and pale colour. The white variety is made without palm oil and so has a milder flavour. Stir into eba or mix into a refreshing gari soaking.

How to enjoy it:

  • Eba: Stir into boiling water to make a firm, smooth dough.
  • With soups: Serve eba with okra, egusi or pepper soup.
  • Gari soaking: Mix with cold water, sugar and nuts.
  • Thickening: Use to thicken stews and sauces.
