Dr. Oetker Profiteroles

Profiteroles, or petits choux, are airy little pastries filled with cream and topped with chocolate sauce. Dr. Oetker's mix gives you everything in one pack: dough mix, cream powder and chocolate sauce – one pack makes about 25–30 buns.

How to enjoy it:

• Dough: Whisk the dough mix with 2 eggs, 50 ml water, 25 ml milk and 50 ml oil for 5 min.
• Baking: Place ½ tsp-sized blobs of dough on a tray and bake at 200°C for 24–30 minutes.
• Filling: Whisk the cream powder with 500 ml cold milk for 3–4 min and pipe into the buns.
• Chocolate sauce: Bring the sauce mix to the boil with 500 ml milk, simmer for 2–3 min, cool and pour over before serving.

Ingredients: wheat flour (gluten), sugar, wheat starch, modified potato starch, fat-reduced cocoa powder, modified maize starch, hydrogenated vegetable oil (palm), maize starch, glucose syrup, thickeners (xanthan gum, guar gum), milk protein, raising agents (sodium bicarbonate, tetrasodium pyrophosphate), emulsifier (lactic and acetic acid esters of mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids), salt, anti-caking agent (tricalcium phosphate), flavouring, colours (beta-carotene, turmeric).
