Kaszanka Wiejska is a rustic black pudding with pork, pork liver and blood bound together by soft barley groats. The flavour is spiced and deep, and the outside turns wonderfully crispy when fried. Serve hot or cold, with bread or vegetables.

How to enjoy it:

Frying: Slice and fry in a pan until the outside is crispy.
With onion: Fry together with sliced onion for the classic flavour.
Serving: With sauerkraut, mustard and hearty bread.
Cold: Slice thinly and serve on a sandwich.
