Campesino is a long-established yerba mate producer from South America. This mint and lemon variety gives traditional mate a fresh twist – the herbal, slightly bitter mate meets cool mint and zesty lemon. The blend contains stems, giving a milder and longer-lasting flavour. Yerba mate contains natural caffeine.

How to enjoy it:

Traditional: Fill a gourd two-thirds full, add water at 70–80 °C and drink through a bombilla.
Tereré: Pour over ice-cold water or juice for a refreshing summer drink.
As tea: 1–2 tsp per cup in a tea strainer or cafetière.
Tip: Never use boiling water – it makes the flavour bitter.
