Polish Chicken Pâté

A mild, creamy pâté where chicken and pork liver meet carrot, parsnip, garlic and herbs. The texture is smooth and easy to spread, so it works just as well on soft bread as on crispbread. The large tin is handy for a big family.

How to enjoy it:

• Breakfast: Spread on crispbread or toast.
• Sandwich: Top with cucumber, tomato or pickled beetroot.
• Nibbles: Serve on crackers with a piece of gherkin.
• Packed lunch: An easy spread for picnics and lunch boxes.

Ingredients: water, mechanically separated chicken meat 14 %, pork fat, pork liver 8 %, chicken skin 6.8 %, pork rind, semolina (from wheat), wheat flour, salt, soya flour, milk proteins, stabiliser: sodium citrates, thickeners: guar gum, tara gum, processed Eucheuma seaweed, pork protein, emulsifier: cellulose gum, spices, dried vegetables in varying proportions (carrots, onion, parsnip), garlic, parsley, tomato, flavour enhancers: monosodium glutamate, disodium 5'-ribonucleotides, sugar, hydrolysed soya protein, yeast extract (contains gluten), colour (paprika extract), flavourings (contain milk), herbs, maltodextrin, preservative: sodium nitrite.

May contain traces of celery, gluten (rye), egg, mustard seeds and sesame. Store at room temperature. Once opened, keep refrigerated.
