TRS whole cumin has a warm, earthy and nutty aroma that blossoms when the seeds are fried or toasted. It is the foundation of Indian tadka and just as important in Latin American dishes and Middle Eastern cooking.

How to enjoy it:

  • Tadka: Fry in hot oil or ghee until fragrant, then pour over dal.
  • Jeera rice: Fry the seeds before cooking the rice.
  • Toast and grind: For tacos, chilli con carne and falafel.
  • Bread: Sprinkle over naan or into the dough.
