Caykur leaf bud tea is a Turkish black tea made from young, hand-picked tea leaves. It has a mild, clean and distinctive flavour with a clear reddish-brown colour – tea in its purest form, with no additives at all. A favourite if you want a smooth, easy-drinking Turkish tea.

How to enjoy it:

Çaydanlık: Brew strong tea in the upper pot and dilute with hot water from the lower one.
Tulip glasses: Serve clear and reddish-brown in small glasses with sugar cubes.
Breakfast: The natural drink with cheese, olives, eggs and simit.
Brewing: 1–2 tbsp tea per half litre of water, leave to brew over low heat for 10–15 minutes.
