Chlebnij Kvass – Malt Drink

Chlebnij kvass is a traditional Eastern European malt drink fermented with rye malt and rye flour. The taste is like a cross between small beer and cola – mild sweetness, bready malt notes and a fresh, light fizz. It is a refreshing thirst quencher on its own and adds an exciting twist to drinks.

How to enjoy it:

• Serving: Well chilled in a tall glass.
• With food: Goes well with open sandwiches, sausages, pelmeni and barbecue food.
• Drinks: Give alcohol-free drinks a dark, malty twist.
• Okroshka: Use as the base for the classic cold summer soup.

Ingredients: water, sugar, fermented wort concentrate (rye malt, rye flour), yeast cultures and lactic acid bacteria in the form of a mixed ferment.

Once opened, keep the bottle in the fridge.
